We had a lovely day with Cheeks and a group of about 20 folks from around the world. The wines were delicious and the gin/vodka tasting was educational and surprising. Great value and a great experience!
I thought this was only going to be wine and lunch, but I was wrong. We went to three vineyards, paired cheese at one, ate lunch, went to a distillery, then to a chocolate maker, and we had time to go spot some kangaroos. Each vineyard was very informative and really introduced a wine for every different palet. Gaz was a great tour guide and had a wonderful sense of humor. He helped make this trip incredibly enjoyable. I would definitely do this tour again, or any tour with this company, again.
Really fun day trip! Enjoyed the several included stops on the tour and learned a lot about wine in the process. Our guide, Ronnie, was so fun and entertaining as well as knowledgable. All and all great value for the outing!
This was a great tour. There were a couple of small hiccups - the bus microphone didn't work so commentary was limited, and morning traffic out of Sydney was bad so the schedule was tighter than ideal. We still managed to hit all of our stops, and George the tour guide was extremely accommodating and professional, even when dealing with a couple of obnoxious passengers. The food and wine were great, and the distillery was an unexpected treat.
