Rise early and travel into Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park. Enjoy a warming tea, coffee or hot chocolate as the dawn creeps across the desert plain and lights up Uluru. Return to the coach for the scenic drive to the 36 domes of conglomerate rock that forms Kata Tjuta. Enjoy a panoramic view of the southern side of Kata Tjuta from the dune viewing platform. Uluru can also be easily seen on the distant horizon from this lookout. Your driver guide will provide insight into the history and geology of this ancient land. On arrival at Kata Tjuta, spend time exploring Walpa Gorge, following the path between two of the tallest domes to a lush oasis in the desert.
What to bring: Snacks for breakfast, enclosed walking shoes, water bottle to hold 1 litre, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, flynet in summer months which is optional and warm layers in cooler months. Conditions: Child aged 2 to 15 years pays the child price. Infants under 2 years travel free of charge. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
