Cairns Wake Park is Tropical North Queensland’s one and only Cable Water Ski park.
Cairns Wake Park offers a unique watersport experience to the young and old. Beginner to Advanced can have fun and a sense of achievement through a well designed and safe activity. All beginner equipment is provided, ranging from kneeboards to wakeboards as well as life jacket and helmet.
The Wake Park is suitable for ages 10 and above, however, Kids Club sessions are run during Queensland School holidays.
Grom Club is designed as an extension of Kids Club, which will still run in school holidays.
Recommended age from 7 years, groms who want to progress with their kneeboarding and wakeboarding. These sessions will be tailored to accommodate all abilities from the absolute beginner to the progressing wakeboarder. The cable runs at a slower speed and our expert staff is on hand to support our budding kneeboarders and wakeboarders in their endeveours.
Grom Sessions run during school term every Saturday from 10am - 11am. Those sessions are designed for 7-12 year olds to learn the basics of wakeboarding in a fun, safe and supported environment. Experienced operators and coaches are on hand, the cable runs slower and buggy pick ups from the far corners make it much more likely for our younger riders to achieve. Cost is $25 per session - bookings are essential!
Liability waiver form must be filled in for use of the rental boards on the obstacles.
Participants under 18 must have the form signed by a parent or guardian.
What's included in the price?
All necessary equipment is included - life jackets and helmets must be worn and are provided and all basic equipment is included.
Do i need to be able to swim?
It is a requirement that you can swim proficiently.
What do i need to bring?
Bring your swimsuit, sunscreen, a towel and a sun shirt if you wish.
Do i need to book?
For Aqua Park, YES please! Bookings are not necessary for the Wake Park !
