Fly through the trees on seven flying fox ziplines, stopping at six platforms with bird's eye views over the treetops, down to cascading streams and out to the Great Barrier Reef. A highly trained team of scientists, tour guides and abseiling specialists will be with you every step of the way to lead you safely through the canopy and into a treetop world, offering interpretation and insight into our World Heritage Listed rainforest environment from every platform. 07:00: Commence pickups from Cairns accommodation.
07:45: Depart Cairns Travel to Port Douglas via the Captain Cook Highway, one of Australia’s most scenic coastal drives.
08:05: Commence pickups from Port Douglas accommodation.
08:45: Arrive at the Wildlife Habitat. Join a guided tour and see the endangered cassowary and other wildlife, with the opportunity to have your photo taken holding a koala, snake or crocodile (extra cost). Enjoy our morning tea.
10:15: Depart The Wildlife Habitat.
11:00: Cross the Daintree River on the cable driven ferry Travel along the rainforest fringed Cape Tribulation Road through Daintree National Park, a magnificent wilderness region.
12:00: Arrive at the Turtle Rock Cafe for a Tropical Lunch.
12:30: Depart for Jungle Surfing A unique rainforest tour where your feet don’t touch the ground. Fly through the trees on ziplines, with a bird’s eye view into the canopy and out to the reef.
14:35: Depart Cape Tribulation for return journey, with some comfort stops along the way.
15:35: Stop at Alexandra Lookout for magnificent views.
16:00: Depart north side of river for the Daintree River Cruise Spot crocodiles, birds and other wildlife as you journey through the mangroves.
17:00: Arrive at south side of river.
18:00: Arrive at Port Douglas accommodation.
19:00: Arrive at Cairns accommodation.

Restrictions: Children under the age of 4 are not permitted to travel with Jungle Tours & Trekking. Not recommended for pregnant women. Please note that this tour will be unavailable for travel from 3rd-30th May 2018.
Conditions: Skirts and dresses are not recommended on this tour. Please also wear closed in shoes. If you have restricted mobility or are concerned about a specific medical condition, please contact us prior to the tour and we will be happy to discuss your requirements and make our best efforts to accommodate you. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult and all persons under 18 years must have our Medical Declaration & Waiver Release signed by a parent or guardian prior to the tour.
