Pepi & Michael established the restaurant when they moved to Cairns from Athens in 2016 and named it after their son Odysseas.

Michael has a long career in the food industry in Greece and is the chef behind all the recipes.

Pepi is IT and number one fun and sampler of Michael’s cooking. Pepi is the hostess and will occasionally translate for Michael who still has not mastered English.

Choose from an array of traditional homemade Greek recipes, including our signature dishes such as the moussaka and baked feta cooked traditionally in clay pots. Or perhaps you might like to try the mega souvlaki skewers, cooked on charcoal, or the souvlaki wraps.

Established in 2016.

Owners Michail & Pepi are authentic Greek immigrants from Athens bringing their family to Cairns in 2015 and opening Odyssey Kitchen in October 2016.

Chef Michail originates from the world's ancient capital, Athens, in the region of Attica. With over 20 years' experience in the food industry he has perfected his style of traditional home-style cooking that comes from the heart.
