This tour departs daily from Port Douglas. This tour includes a guided snorkel tour. Access to the water is so easy with the large submerged platform, relax on the spacious deck areas, there are hot freshwater showers, change rooms and even a licensed bar to share tales of your adventure on the homeward journey. As an added bonus during the whale season, Silversonic has one of the few permits available from the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority that allows our guests to swim with dwarf minke whales if encountered, a truly unforgettable experience.

08:15: Vessel boarding Enjoy the complimentary morning tea or breakfast served.
08:30: Depart Port Douglas Marina Depart Port Douglas marina for the Outer Barrier Reef. On the outward journey, certified and introductory dive briefings begin.
10:15: Arrive at the first reef location Divers gear up, while snorkellers site briefing begins. Get ready to view the beauty of this natural wonder.
11:30: Silversonic departs for second reef location Option for introductory divers and certified divers to do a second dive. Snorkellers site briefing.
12:00: Lunchtime Tropical hot and cold buffet lunch served in the air-conditioned cabin.
13:40: Silversonic departs for third reef location Snorkellers are once again briefed as to the best areas to snorkel. Guided snorkel tour. Option for certified divers to do a third dive or second introductory dive.
14:30: Afternoon tea time Afternoon tea served.
15:00: Board Vessel All passengers board vessel for final passenger count and departure for Port Douglas.
16:30: Arrival at Port Douglas Marina Silversonic arrives at Port Douglas Marina at 16:30.
16:55: Departure Coaches depart for accommodation.
What to bring: Camera, swimming costume, towel, hat, sunscreen, shirt, certification card for certified divers, cash for drinks at the bar, credit card for additional dives, underwater digital cameras available for hire and professional underwater photo and video service on board.
Conditions: Children from 0-3 years can travel for free while child rates are applicable from 4-14 years old. Presentation of a valid photo ID or the credit card used to book is requiring for verification purposes at check-in. If you have selected the pay on board option you must reconfirm your booking within 24 hours of travel by contacting our reservations team.
