10-minute Scenic Flight over The Great Barrier Reef

Sightings of manta rays, turtles and other marine life are not uncommon on the reef scenic flight and if you’re flying with us in the winter months there is even a chance of spotting whales.

At Hastings Reef you will board a luxury Nautilus Aviation Helicopter for a 10-minute scenic flight to see the magical colours of the reef from the air.
We have 12 exclusive moorings at six reef locations. Locations are chosen each day based on weather conditions and water clarity so as to ensure the best experience for all activities. Generally we travel to one of our two outer reef locations in the morning (Norman Reef or Saxon Reef) then make our way to North Hastings Reef in the afternoon to conduct Helicopter Flights and our Semi-Submersible tour.
Return transfers from Cairns CBD locations is $17.00 per person and from the Northern Beaches $24.00 per person.
What to bring: Sunscreen, a hat, extra clothes for changing, swimmers, a towel, underwater cameras and cash or credit card for additional purchases.
Conditions: All scuba divers must complete a dive medical questionnaire aboard the boat. Some illnesses such as asthma may preclude you from scuba diving. Please check with your doctor or tour supplier if you have any queries. Please be advised that 100kg weight restrictions applies for helicopter rides.

It was amazing! The staff were very friendly and helpful! It was the first time for us to go on snokerlying. And it was our first time to travel on a helicoptor. The view of the reef was amazing! My youngest son get to sit on the frong of the helicoptor, it was a wonderful experience for him.
